Get to Know Byron Balken
Owner Byron Balken has been around cars since he was a young boy growing up and watching his father restore cars. When he was 13, he purchased a classic 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and brought it back to life with help from his dad.
This hobby became a career when he got his first job in a body shop working as a painter's assistant. That is where he learned the ins and outs of working as a collision repair technician. He received product training, I-CAR training, and paint and tinting training.
He continued to learn and move up in the auto body industry until he learned that the customer service and ethical standards left a lot to be desired. To solve this issues, he opened his own shop. In 1992, Balken's Auto Body LLC opened its doors to the public.
We service and repair all makes and models of American, European, and Asian cars, trucks, and SUVs, as well as heavy trucks, campers, and RVs.
